Not worth the price

The front panel stopped working after just over a year of use. I thought I fixed it when I was able to find and unplug and reconnect the connector from the door to the microwave under the bezel holding the charcoal filter. Although it worked for about 9-10 months after the connector was reconnected, it has failed again. It appears that the wires from the door to the connector are bent too sharply by the bezel, and the microwave now no longer functions. A failure of the unit just after the warranty expires and total failure in just over 2 years is unacceptable.

disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a full set of frigidaire appliances for my new kitchen just over 3 years ago. I hardly use the convection feature but I was initially happy with this microwave. However the past few months we have been having problems with the touch screen as many others have noted-it freezes and displays E-11 but then it works. For this price I would have expected the product to last longer.

Ok so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the microwave 3 weeks ago and I’ve used it to reheat food and used the sensor cook feature to cook oatmeal every morning (there is no specific setting for oatmeal unfortunately so I use the potato one and have to take it out when I think it’s done). I went to use it yesterday and all of the buttons on the left side of the clock were not working. I unplugged and plugged it back in and that fixed the problem. Made me a little nervous...

Low Audible Alarm Volume and Poor Heating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, the installation diagram for vertical exhausting is terrible!! Do not follow the 2" hole recommendation for installing the power cord through. With the rectangular cut-out for the exhaust ducting, you only need a 1/2"-3/4" hole drilled in the corner of the rectangle for the power cord to pass through.
Second, the volume for the audible alarm is very quiet even on the highest volume setting.
Third, the power output of the microwave is very weak for a professional series unit, 3-4 minutes to luke warm a 12oz. cup of soup with a clear plastic splash guard sealing the bowl top. I've gotten use to eating only warm items instead of hot now.
I do like the looks of the unit as that was all I had to go by when purchasing it. I certainly wish the faulty reviews were listed on the web when I purchased this one because I wouldn't have bought it.
