Microwave door power issue.

We got the entire Frigidaire Professional line, like many people on this review board, thinking that the premium line would ensure reliability. But it seems that we have the same door power loss issue that many people reported. Power cable to the door looks frayed. The microwave light comes on but the door has no power, meaning we have a fairly expensive brick above our stove. Would appreciate a resolution from Frigidaire on this design flaw.

Multiple E-11 failures, now a failed keypad after

This unit was installed 3 years ago, but I've seen multiple E-11 errors (fixed by unplugging and resetting the unit), and now the keypad is unresponsive on all buttons while the clock is still on.

I do no recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first one in June of 2017 which lasted one year and was not repairable. Fortunately, it was replaced under warranty, but it took until August 2018 to get it installed. Now, after using microwave #2 for one year and 5 months it is also broken. I had purchased an extended warranty from my appliance store, so this one will also get repaired or replaced. I have a 2003 Frigidaire microwave in my basement which is still working fine, so either this newer design is flawed, the parts are of poor quality or both. Frigidaire does not believe there is an issue with this product, but I can't believe that I am that unlucky to get two bad ones.

Failed after two years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this microwave in late 2017 and it just stopped working. I suspect the magnatron failed it is makes a loud noise and fails to heat water. Too expensive to fail in two years. Trying to reach support st Frigidare is a challenge.

Failed after 2 years

I bought this just 2 years ago and it stopped working. An electrician checked everything out and said there problem was definitely the microwave and not an electrical issue. I called the place I bought it and they said I’d have to call Frigidaire directly to ask about this problem. It is impossible to get through to a person there. So unfortunately after 2 years, it looks like I’m stuck having to but a new microwave, and it won’t be a Fridgidaire. I do not recommend this product at all and I am highly dissatisfied.

Powerful, BUT...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great powerful microwave, but 3 years later we find ourselves needing to replace it. It keeps tripping the circuit the second we turn it on. For the cost, you'd think one would get more than 3 years of VERY occasional usage from it.

Design Flaw/Door Handle

I like many others apparently have had my door handle break completely off for no reason. The microwave is less than 2 years old. This seems to be a significant design flaw for such an expensive microwave and Frigidaire should recall the product.

Wires shorting at door hinge

Exact same issue another customer posted a few days ago. This was a builder upgrade package in my new house 2 years ago (1 year out of warranty). The design is FLAWED. The wires connecting to the door panel snake through the upper door hinge and are tugged and stressed every time you open and close the door. No rubber grommets, not glued down - constant drag across metal bracket at sharp angles. My control panel started locking up when I closed the door and eventually ceased functioning at all - no sparks or fire. Unfortunately there is no point getting it repaired, new wires would still snake through the same sharp path and I would have to deal with this every 2 years. A new design is needed. Two years old is considered new for Microwaves. Definitely not the upgrade I paid for.
