Wonderful with addition of real convection!

Usage shortfall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The timer bell at the end of cooking something is a joke. Turning up the sound did nothing. I was a design engineering manager for 40 years and this simple customer satisfaction item is basic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid and outstanding microwave however one concern. This is designed to be an above the range microwave so we installed above our gas cooktop. After using the cooktop we noticed the handles of the microwave to be very warm and hot to touch. The spacing between the appliances seems appropriate I would recommend to design a handle for the microwave that doesn't get hot because of this problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The difference in this and our old one is not even comparable! The old one was the "cheap one" that was included in the house when it was build eons ago. This one has a convection feature that I'll be honest intimidates me a bit but I will master it eventually. We use it mainly for basic microwave use, but having the convection option really is a bonus! We bought the entire series of the "professional" grade appliances and this one does not disappoint! It is larger inside and so easy to keep clean! The touch panel on the outside doesn't get all smudged with fingerprints and it is really easy to use...except for the convection part that I have yet to learn but that will come! I haven't been in a hurry to learn it but it's really nice to know there is an extra location to cook stuff for larger dinner gatherings like Thanksgiving when I am sure I will utilize it and be grateful it is there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased all the Fridgidare Pro appliances and love the microwave. It heats extremely fast. Looks great and seems to be of great quality. Only thing I would change is the cancel button you can hardly see it, should be white, no red.

I bought this 9 months ago and it is already broke. Even though it is under warranty, it cannot be fixed and therefore I can have my money back. This means I can purchase a microwave that now doesn't match all of the ther appliances. I also have to shop, uninstall the other and reinstall thi s one. Don't buy it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
