Dead as a doornail.

Just stopped working during the middle of popping popcorn. I have some technical ability so I troubleshot all of the simple stuff and that is all fine, to include the 20 amp fuse. I got the whole Frigidaire Professional package with my new home, and everything else has been pretty good with a few minor flaws here and there. But this is ridicules. My unit was manufactured in Jan 2021, and I closed on my home in June of 2021. Now I am out of warranty and really in a position when I have to try and find one like it to match everything else. I found one online to purchase (US Appliance), but not happy about it. Want to be able to plug and play with install so this is my best bet. Someone will hopefully read this from Frigidaire and maybe offer to pay for my new one. You guys got me good! (Twice).

A fabulous replacement microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly our above range microwave died and we needed a replacement asap. We found the Frigidaire model that met our needs & expectations. The least desirable aspect was traveling 250 miles by car, and then getting it across the lake to our island. So far we are pleased and would recommend this model….no matter how far you need to take it!😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That's all we got with the Frigidaire Professional 1.8 model. Control panel froze and would no longer respond after a hard reset. Control panel is no longer available and if it was would cost more($800) than the whole unit cost us to start with. Will be looking at all brands as we replace as we hope to get a little longer life on the next one.

Awful touchpad

Like many Frigidaire products, the touchpad is garbage. It finally just broke completely the other day after owning it for two years.

Really bad design and major problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model less than 3 years ago. We've had multiple problems, similar to other 1-star reviews here. First, the input panel is on the door and the electronic cable that carries the signal threads through a small plastic part in the door, and frequently gets pinched. Often, the panel does not respond to inputs. That's frustrating.
However, today, when we went to use it, the door handle ripped right off and the pictures look exactly like others here that show a broken door handle.
Worst microwave we've ever bought, and it cost us $600. Frigidiare made a really stinker in this model. We know they can make decent products because our fridge/freezer is over 20 years old and still works.

Pros and cons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Excellent over-range lighting Quiet operation Above-average convection oven. Well-lit interior. Convenient placing of control input buttons. Very solid feel when closing door which requires little effort. 4-speed exhaust fan.
Cons: Absolutely inadequate audio alert volume; inaudible even with volume on high and in an otherwise quiet room. Audio alert beeps once at cycle completion. Just once and does not repeat. Totally unacceptable. Timer has no audio alert sound at all. Totally unacceptable. Control inputs are not intuitive. Just mildly annoying. Closing door results in “random” spurious cook times if 1-3 digits which must be cancelled manually to prevent empty microwave from starting. Cannot use ammonia-based cleaner on door (such as Windex) Peculiar turntable speed of 5 rpm not a multiple of 30 seconds which may result in awkward placing of food container at end of cycle. An example is coffee cup handle in back of oven if heated 30 seconds.
