Problem child

Despite reading negative reviews about this microwave we decided to purchase it anyway because the positive reviews outweighed the negative ones. Once installed, we noticed that the front display and push button system on the front door panel was defective. We talked to the vendor we purchased it from and were advised to contact the manufacturer directly. They provided the contact information to a local repair contractor and set up the initial appointment. Despite explaining the problem in detail and receiving a verbal confirmation of a proposed solution, the repairman arrived a week later to merely do an assessment.
A replacement door was ordered and installed a week later. However, once installed, the repairman noticed the wiring harness was different.
A new door was ordered and when the repairman installed it another week later, he noticed it was broken, brand new in the box. He was extremely embarrassed and we observed him in his car outside our home ordering yet another door. He was visibly upset and by his body language it was not a pleasant conversation with whom ever he was talking to.
That brings us to today. About two weeks later and no contact from the repairman.
I don't know if the problem is solely with the manufacturer or their local repair vendor, but going on over a month, this is unacceptable. We've been more than patient.
We've kept the box and receipt and are at the point where we will return it and purchase a competitors product if any, ANY more issues arise and this microwave isn't repaired or performs as advertised.

Very nice unit, but awaiting repairs

I do like the performance, and appearance of my Frigidaire Professional Microwave.
The controls are convenient and clear which helps my mother who is visually impaired. Unfortunately the sensor settings aren't working properly (but were great when they were) and parts are back ordered, so I can't give it a full 5 star review.

Second to None!

Beautiful features, this over the range microwave fits perfectly in our new kitchen. The multi-mode features and convection cooking options allow much flexibility. It is large enough to handle any items, and super easy to clean, especially the filter underneath. I was worried that it wouldn't be able to handle the heat over the range, but the fan has enough speeds and vents that it is not an issue. Really love this microwave.

We purchased the microwave and matching appliances to update our kitchen for the sale of our home. They brought a new, updated modern look to our kitchen. The microwave is very simple to use and works great. The stainless steel feature is very easy to maintain and does not streak or smear when you clean it using just plain water and a dry towel. The entire set of appliances work so well, we purchased a 2nd set for the house we are moving to.

I like styling and features. Very quiet and powerful.
Love the Led lighting both inside the oven itself and the amount of light on the cook top. Also like the 4 speed exhaust fan.
Features are easy to learn and use.
Also bought 40" double oven Frigidaire range in 2015 and Frigidaire side by side last month. No problems with any of the new appliances.
