[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new microwave. We had a problem with the controls. the set of controls on the left side stopped working. When I looked online for a fix, I was amazed at the number of problems other people had. I called the shop where I purchased the oven. It was suggested that I unplug it and then plug it back in. This worked and my stomach stopped turning. I am back to loving the oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st microwave made rattling noise. It was extremely frustrating getting replacement but finally did accomplish. Not sure if the difficultly securing replacement was the manufacturer or dealer.

Disappointed for the price paid

Outstanding Convection Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently remodeled my kitchen, replacing my venerable Fridgidaire range with twin ovens, one at eye-level (a relic from 1974). I wanted to keep an oven at eye level, so I choose a Convection Microwave to complement my new Fridgidaire Induction Range. I didn’t care for the microwave that matched my range (Gallery Collection) as it had too much black plastic trim and had no handle. However, the microwave offered in the Fridgidaire Professional Series was mostly Stainless Steel and matched fairly well. The handle may not exactly match that on the range, but does not look out of place and is more functional. Both the microwave and convection oven function well. The convection oven is particularly adept at cooking pastries. My only criticism is that cooking times seem to be somewhat longer than when cooking the same food, at the same temperature, in the traditional “big” oven below the range. However, the resulting baked goods are outstanding. The microwave, however, is more powerful than most consumer models and cooks about 20% faster. There is also a function that uses convective heat and microwave simultaneously, but it appears to be primarily for big things like a turkey or roast. I haven’t tried that yet so I can’t speak to how well it works. All in all, I highly recommend the Fridgidaire Professional Model Convection Microwave.
