Stopped working completely

We bought all Frigidaire Professional products for our kitchen remodel at the end of 2015. This microwave has worked on and off. Now it doesn't work at all. looks like there are wires at the door area that have been severed. Maybe a design flaw I don't know, but seems like this was an expensive microwave to only work for 5 years. I bought an extended warranty, but of course it was only for 3 years. I am so sad because we invested in all Frigidaire products and I am now worried about the quality of the refrigerator, oven and dishwasher.

Door snapped off in my hand!!

BAD DESIGN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess I was a little luckier than others since mine lasted 4 years. Same issue with the wires being cut from the door. Thought buying a higher end microwave would've lasted longer than that. Would not recommend.

Great size

The 2 stars is for great size and look, but we have owned our new home less then 4 years and microwave stopped working. We are told for the cost to repair its better to buy a new one. It will not be Frigidaire unfortunately.

Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave in the middle of 2020. It was not my first choice, but with Covid, I had very few options. Around November of 2020, the turntable stopped working. For a microwave as expensive as this one, that should not happen. Obviously, I will have to file a warranty claim and I’m sure it will be a process.

Broken Handle

Just bought a house with all Frigidaire appliances. When we looked at the house, the handle on the microwave was broken. The owner "fixed" it, but when the handle broke again we realized that all he tried doing was gluing it. The failure is the same plastic part inside the handle that many others have complained about. Can you please send me a replacement for that plastic part. Obviously, it is a design flaw.

Faulty Wiring

This was a brand new microwave when we had our home built 4 1/2 years ago. We have been having trouble getting the unit to work for the past couple of months. Given that a large percentage of our neighborhood also had their microwaves go out, we figured we were dealing with the same issue even though we had the upgraded appliances and our neighbors all have a standard model. Upon inspection, we found that the wiring that runs from the microwave door into the top of the unit is not properly installed. The door actually rubs and pinches the wires. Over time, it appears that the door finally cut through the white protective sleeve and the wires, making the microwave useless.
