Great looking, spacious, quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Professional series microwave has a really great design. Love the look of the control panel on the door (although I have concerns about future reliability based on reviews). Runs very quietly. It offers many nice features, like convection cooking, that I have not used yet. One small gripe: like my Pro line stove, the timer sound is way too quiet. I followed the instructions in the manual to increase the volume as high as it would go, but it is still barely audible unless you are in the kitchen. (and no, I do not have a hearing problem)

Expensive price for an average microwave

We bought this Frigidaire 'Professional' convection microwave along with matching diswasher, gas range, and all fridge/all freezer side by side units in late 2015. After 6 months the hinge weld broke on the microwave and it hung uneven. I had to put a pop rivet in to repair it which wouldn't take but an extra 5 cents and 20 seconds on an assembly line. The timer is so muffled and quiet it can hardly be heard 4 feet away. The frigerator completely died and is unrepairable at 3 1/2 years of use. So far the gas range and dishwasher have made it 3 1/2 years with no necessary repairs. I would HIGHLY recommend an extended warranty if it is offered. I don't think the 'Professional' means its made to a higher standard like some might think.

Poor quality

I bought the professional series microwave, range, frig and dishwasher a little over a year ago. Yesterday the handle broke off of the microwave and like other customers this is a know issue that has not been fixed for years, and it is expensive to fix. I have also had 3 service calls on my gas range and it still has some issues.

Looks nice, but definitely not professional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few years ago, and one day, all the controls on the left panel just stopped working. I can set the cooking time only now. No error messages on the display that indicate any issues. I think in order to pay this much money that's supposedly professional, it should be much more resilient and indicative of potential issues. Not happy; I feel this is just another overpriced product that doesn't live up to it's hype. Definitely not worth the money. I thought only Kitchen Aid had degraded in terms of quality and value...
