Superb Quality and Dependability

I must have gotten a bad one. It’s broken again (5th time in less that 4 years). Not very well made to say the least.

Cheap Built

I brought the professional series convection oven microwave 4 years ago and handle broke off with normal use. Learned handle can not be replaced without replacing to entire door assembly, over $400.00. Researching internet found this is a common failure point of the product. Will never purchase Frigidaire products again.

Broken

Our new house came with all Frigidaire appliances. This left side panel of the buttons stopped working just after the year warranty expired. The fan and convection use the left side panel buttons. I’m still able to reheat using the right panel buttons, but that’s all. I am very disappointed in this microwave and would not recommend it.

Tripped Circuit Breaker

Avoid this product. See other bad reviews. This unit is flawed and caused circuit breaker to trip many times, and ultimately the microwave dies. Not worth the money.

Hardly use microwave, maybe 10 times since we owned it. Door handle just came off!

We hardly use a microwave. The exhaust fan is ok but pretty weak. But today went to open it and the handle just detached from the door. No obvious way to fix it. I guess if you are a regular user of microwave this door handle will give out in a few months or quicker.

Trips Breaker

Like many others, we bought all Frigidaire Professional appliances about 2 and half years ago with our brand new house. Now every time we try to use the microwave it trips the breaker. So what did we get for our very expensive microwave? A nice looking box that does nothing. Out of warranty I'm told. How can a known defect in a "reputable" companies product be dismissed like this. I'd like to replace it but without some help from Frigidaire I'm afraid we will be forced to look elsewhere.

I would give it less than one star but that wasn’t an option

I have had two of these microwaves in the last 3 years. They have quit working at every level and now I am looking for yet another new microwave/convection because the circuit board in the 2nd one has failed and it is going to cost me close to replace the board as it is to get a new micro. Keep looking for other brands.

Unit was performing well until...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was working great for four months, but half the power went off on the left side and two weeks later it happened again, twice on the right side. During that same time period, the door handle loosened and almost pulled out. We have been waiting for several days for the warranty repairs, but have another week until they arrive. I hope that it can be permanently repaired.
