Questionable Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dont like that decisions about washing clothes are taken away from me.The predetermined water level / how can clothes get clean if they are not even getting wet in the wash cycle. You are not saving water if you wash fewer clothes at a time and do more loads to combat the above described issue.You cant just have "hot" water because it's predetermined that you dont need it that hot and it automatically adds cold to keep it less hot. bathroom accidents, vomiting - they require "hot" water, in my opinion and because of this "predetermined" feature and the lack of water will require more than one wash, wasting the energy and water saving it's supposed to be achieving.I bought this washer/dryer for its space saving and I am happy with that. The dryer features are great but if my old washer and dryer were not gone I would forgo the space saving and return this item because I am partcularly unhappy with the water control!!!None of my research indicated that clothes were not even getting wet in the wash cycle and it looks like the predetermined "auto" water level is a common feature on new top load washers or I would definitely return it but it doesnt seem like there are new washers without this feature. (I have had a front load washer in the past and hated the mildew and smell problem with the door seal which is why I choose top load).Its hard to give accurate ratings since there are two separate functions and I am very happy with one and very disappointed with the other

Combination Unit Perfect for the Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This combination washer/dryer was installed 2 weeks ago and I am very pleased so far. I had a tight space and this unit was chosen. However, I was a little surprised that while the washer is in the wash cycle, it does sound like the chug a chug of a train trying to go uphill. I had a Frigidaire Gallery front loader before and not accustomed to the agitator sound!

I just moved into a new apartment and at first I was excited by the size of the washer BUT because it's one of these high-efficient machines, I can barely do a regular sized load because it only fills the drum a quarter of the way! I can't believe what an inconvenience this is. I can only wash 1 king size bed sheet at a time and even that, it barely adds enough water. It's to the point now that I am thinking about buying another unit because this is just garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this combination, this replaced a old set which was 18 years old. So there is a great improvement and in quality and efficiency. I still can't get that it doesn't use much water. Everything smells cleaner and I use less soap.
