Er all expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new gas cooktop. A&tee several store visits and reviews decided this model met our needs. Able to obtain a very fair price. Installation easy with clear directions. Has, so far exceeded expectations.

OK Cooktop

Nice looking cooktop but average in functionality, especially in the cleaning department. Have had it for almost two years. The recommended cleaning is with soap and water. Ever tried getting burned-on food off of stainless steel with soap and water? Perhaps, if I stopped cooking immediately after a spill, took everything off the cooktop, carefully removed the hot grates, and immediately removed the offending stain with soap & water, this might work. Right! I now have unremovable stains (no matter what I use to remove them) and the surface is prone to scratches. Am considering replacing it.

Regular cleaning will help reduce the number or major cleanings. Please keep in mind that special care and cleaning are required for maintaining the appearance of stainless-steel parts. We recommend the use of hot, soapy water and a soft dishcloth or kitchens cleaners especially made for cleaning stainless steel to prevent any damages to the finish.

Glad we switched!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cooktop started failing and it came time for a replacement. We chose the Frigidaire based on its proven quality. Although it has only been a few weeks, we're very pleased with this cooktop. Plenty of BTU's for just about anything. Our old cooktop had the controls on the side, with restricted the burner surface. This layout, with the burners in the front makes an incredible difference when using multiple pans.

A solid cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is everything I was hoping to get in a 30" gas cooktop. The burner controls are smooth and provide great control of the flame. Installation was easy and went from box to flame in about 20 minutes.
