Watch out for the knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I could say that it is a very nice cooktop, the knobs make that hard to do. The posts are made of plastic and are very prone to breaking. While some who buy this cooktop will hardly use it, we use ours daily. We have had ours 3 months and all have had the posts crack open to the point they are useless. The company views the knobs as "accessories".... How are knobs "accessories"??????????? Electrolux, the parent company, really needs to re-engineer these knobs and make them out of metal so that they do not break so easily.

Nice cooktop

The addtional burner in the middle was a dream come true. Easy to install and the larger cooking area with controls in front makes this a nice top for people who can food products or just enjoy cooking.

An average cooktop

This cooktop was easy to install and looked good in my kitchen...until I started using it. It has a design flaw at the knobs. A spill can seep into the knob holes and is practically impossible to clean out. Brown spots have started showing up around the burners and they cannot be removed. It appears the finish is turning brown from the heat. The surface also easily gets scratch marks. I am dissatisfied with this unit. It was installed two months ago and it already looks like an old unit. It looks like a cheap, low end appliance. I expected better from a Frigidaire.

Never Go Back To Electric Range Top

After thirty six years, we finally have a gas cook top. After carefully reviewing all the other brands, we chose the Frigidaire - FGGC3047QS and could not be happier. The grates are strong for support, and to remove for cleaning. Love, love, love the flat burner surface under the grates for quick, easy clean up. This unit if beautiful in our newly remodeled kitchen and our neighbors are so jealous. The control knobs come off for easy clean up as well. Looks great with the Frigidaire Wall Oven FGEW3065PFC.
I would recommend this to a friend!

works great - details, not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful stovetop and works great. However.. details - the little stoppers keeping it from scratching fell off every time i lift it to clean, already causing scratches on the stovetop. 3 are now missing. Be aware that the grates are extremely heavy to lift off to clean.

Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is it the little rubber pieces on the bottom of the cast-iron it set between the Great and the stainless steel breakdown and disintegrate within days after purchase.

Great features in a solid product

Wide range of burner sizes with a flat surface made by the grates. Easy to slide pots and pans around without having to balance across grate gaps.
