[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd replacement of our kitchenaid cooktop, it was going to cost almost as much to repair as replace so we bought a new unit so we could get a warranty, the igniters don't last and the last time unit flamed up, this unit seems much improved, we have a all kitchenaid appliance kitchen.

Unfortunately the prior cooktop spark mechanism failed and parts to replace it are not available. Unfortunately, the new cooktop has different cut out dimensions so we had to hire someone to cut our cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the stove for the first time. I am very pleased with the stove overall. The only thing I find are the grates are very heavy. Also liquid spilled on the grate while cooking. I was not able to completely clean the spill. There are two spots which remained on the grate. I hope this does not keep happening as the grates might not last too long.
