I don't understand why the 820 didn't sell squillions. It is a great piece of kit that does everything you could want, has more than enough apps and has a brilliant camera not to mention the Here suite.
Pros: Business

When Nokia launched the 820 alongside the 920 back in autumn 2012 I was thinking "what's the catch here?". The 2 phones shared almost all hardware specs (minus the cameras, storage size, battery size and screen protection none of which were of importance to me back then# and the 820 had some extra goodies: expandable storage, exchangeable battery and back covers and of course a lower price. In my mind #and for my use case) the Lumia 820 was the better choice. I bought it shortly after it became available I my area and I have been extremely happy with it since. The Nokia apps, coupled with the fluidity of the WP have made my experience with the 820 a very pleasant one. An experience that I plan to continue with the next instalment of the same Lumia family.

Good Camera & Smoother after WP8.1 update

Nokia's hardware is always great quality Period. In software WP needs features as quick settings/access to all controls, more media type support, bringing more famous games in Android/iOS platform to WP Store, easy transfer of data etc when moving from one Lumia to other OR migrating from Android/iOS, need in-system app like the one in Android to release RAM(system cleaner like), MS need to concentrate on Software side to see what features consumers want in their mobile devices...
Pros: Personal

Bought phone in middle of last year. Like OS very much and is super easy to use. There is vast selection of apps, although selection only improved this year. Using developer preview build which sometimes causing some bugs but overall it is almost perfect. Phone fares very good and it can handle my heavy use (couple of drops to hard surface). However, there are some peculiar things, like build quality, although very robust, assembly is not so good and could be done with greater precision. Battery hardly last throughout whole day of use. Also camera needs improvements for low light photography. It was improved with Cyan update, however there are still grained and fuzzy pictures if you are not completely still. Hope Lumia 830, which will be my next will have same robustness with better assembly quality and improved battery life.
Pros: Personal, Business

Very smooth, supports MicroSD. not a great screen but big enough. Fast enough, for personal use. This phone is great for daily use, not for gaming.

My Nokia 820 has responded very well my needs, but I think what is missing for Nokia 820 to be a great device is a better battery. I use of device is very simple, I don´t, so I can not opine about processing.

I have many 'but' to tell about this phone: the display have excellent colors, blacks, resolution but... could have gorila glass; the internal memory is only 8GB but you can use an sd card to install apps since WP8.1 and it is AMAZING! The weak point is certainly the poor battery.
In general it's a excellent mid-range phone.
Pros: Personal, Business
