What a GREAT Phone!!!

I simply cannot speak highly enough about this phone. It's the perfect size... not too big, not too small. The marriage between phone and OS make for a simple, easy to use, intuitive, yet robust experience. The Nokia Drive app works perfectly and when you consider the software is still in Beta, it's clear that experience will only improve. In fairness, I've only had the phone for 1 day, but I'm a Windows Phone veteran so, I didn't need much time to make my assessment. I look forward to improvements in the marketplace/store but have the fullest confidence that as this ecosystem gains momentum, it's a given that will naturally follow.

One of the most stable, solid phone I ever used

As a enthusiast mobile phone tester, this is a very stable fast response mobile, has several features from high-end phones for a fraction of the price (in it's release date).
Missing only some apps but with a very good camera, hardware and accesories.

Great mid range phone

Great phone, never freezes up. Has micro SD slot which the 920 doesn't have. LTE capable phone. Only thing bad is the lack of certain apps but windows is working on it. Bought this phone to be a backup phone but ended up keeping it. You won't be disappointed in this phone.

Beautiful and Functional

When I am surrounded by colleagues with their plastic-looking iPhones, I am especially glad I opted instead for the beautiful Lumia. It looks good, it has everything you want by way of features, and it is a pleasure to use.
Cortana organized my most recent vacation and was in constant use, scouting out restaurants, getting directions, and answering questions about local options. In my hotel, my Lumia was in constant use, providing entertainment and keeping me in contact with family and friends.
Lumia is a vastly superior phone to iOS and Android, and for people who think for themselves rather than follow the crowd, it is the ONLY choice.

I love you Microsoft and my smartphone Lumia 820 but microsoft please work on Battery life , after 8.1 update battery drain fast please immprove battery life time Thanks We Are Wating For Windows 10 .

the mailing system is quick and effective. the ie loading speed is very fast. specifically for the video, just one click ,start in one second,

Stability and quality - people, it's NOKIA

Not a perfect phone and most certainly not the best NOKIA ever made, but still a great phone. Battery life is good but not great. It fits in the hand well, doesnt slip or poke with sharp edges. Sound is good, vibrates only once when the phone rings which is annoying if you turn the volume down. It is capable of dealing with every app, as I never experienced any lag or game crashes. I dropped it a dozen times and I only have one small crack on the back mask, but I expected nothing less. Touch screen is very good, no smudges and is equally sensitive in all temperatures and visible in every light except really strong sun.
As far as Windows Phone goes, I regularly get all updates, each works without problem and brings something new and better. The system is stable and doesnt crash - not once in this year since I bought it. There are a lot of apps in the store to choose from, and even though it still trails competition in the number department, quality of apps is better and it makes the overall experience and use mor reliable.
