Better then expected

It fit the existing cabinet opening perfectly, was easy to install, and heats much quicker then I expected from reading other reviews.

Heats up Fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first glass cooktop. I like how much faster it heats up over my previous electric cooktop. But I am nervous about scratching the glass as we have only had it a month and it's been scratched. But the old electric's pans under the burners was always hard to clean and had lots of burned on gunk. It's a trade -off.

Nice addition to rental property

Control knobs should be on left

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have the previous version, and purchased this update as it is the only one that fits my counter opening.
The construction is great, the materials are great, I even love the configuration of the heating elements which make a lovely pattern when turned on.
However, the decision to move the four control knobs from the former spot on the left to line up along the right was not a good design decision.
The user must now use ONE hand to cook, instead of using the left to turn on the burner while placing pots with the right.
In addition, the lineup along the right interferes with the space that could be used by pots on the stovetop. Moreover, there is a greater chance for spills at the right than there were when controls were on the left.
If you continue making this model, I strongly suggest controls be moved back to the left in the previous squared arrangement. Thank you.
