Outstanding Major Appliance

The range was purchased as a replacement of a KitchenAid Superba slide in range that I purchase in 2004 when we remodeled our home in Houston, Texas. I had a wonderful experience with the 2004 model and look forward to great things with the new range.
The new features are outstanding - 5 burners with a middle oval burner with a griddle and a much larger oven cavity and a lower warming oven. So far I love the range and will cook even more!!
Great design and features.

Can’t childproof

Oven not preheating

I bought this is February, delivered in March and gas line installed in April. Oven is not preheating, a technician shows up to repair. He has to order a bunch of parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 1 month ago. It takes 18 minutes to reach 400°. The slide in all gas range protrudes 5 inches from cabinet fronts. So far have burnt the bottoms of cookies& bread. Used the rack in middle of oven. Guess gas oven may take some getting use to. The cook top works just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and the oven is still not working. It arrived and the oven wouldn't heat up. After three weeks of waiting that was repaired. The part replaced looked to have been assembled incorrectly at the factory. After using the oven one time, power went out to the control panel and oven light. The only option whirlpool service gives me is to have another service call weeks from now. Avoid this appliance at all costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
