Self Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy with the new oven. But was surprised everything you need to do for the self-cleaning with the water etc. Our old oven just required you to slide a level to self-clean and the oven did the rest. When we bought the oven, we just assumed it would operate the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oven and burners work well, boils water rapidly, oven heats up quickly. Control panel easy to use. Warmer drawer in bottom is a nice feature. Astatically pleasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoy my new range.....generally. My primary complaint is the current quality of your stainless steel "grade" and its gleanability.....it is not to my anticipated standard.
PREVIOUSLY INANOTHER RESIDEBCE I INSTALLED (IN 2016) A KITCHENAID STAINLESS STEEL FINISH COOKTOP AND HAD MUCH MORE SATISFACTION MAINTAINING TH FINISH....WHY DID YOU DOWNGRADE THE FINISH GRADE? THIS ALSO APPLIES TO MY HOOD/MICRO, DISHWASHER AND REFRIGERATOR ALL PURCHASED AND INSTALLED RECENTLY AND ALL KITCHEN AID.........

Disappointed

I wanted a self-clean oven and was told the AquaClean feature would do the job. It does not self clean the oven. I have to scrub the oven after following the instructions on the Aqua Clean feature. I mean REALLY scrub and scrape. It is a useless feature. I feel as if I've stepped back in time.

So many features, so many options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love 99.9% of it. Size, appearance, stainless surface instead of black, features, variety of cooking methods... all great. The slid out rack on ball bearings makes a massive difference when removing a large and heavy item. The only issue is the "simmer" setting on the front left burner. When I use it, the flame sputters and is only partially around the burner instead of a steady quiet flame completely around the burner. I've tried cleaning it (although it is brand new) and making sure the holes on the burner completely open. Next step will be contacting Kitchenaid support and finding out if a service call is needed to adjust the burner. Outside of that one issue I'm absolutely thrilled with my new range.
