Oven is slow to heat

This oven I have is electric with the gas range top. The oven takes forever to get to temperature and it is off by about 10 degrees when using an oven thermometer.
If you open the door for a few seconds, it takes forever to get back to temperature. I would not recommend if you do a lot of baking.

Will never buy kitchenaid again

We've had issues with this appliance from the get go. The front right burner wont light on its own. Its like it has the wrong burner plate on it. The dials on the front don't line up with off position, they also easily turn on. So super unsafe. My daughter barely nudged the dial and our kitchen started to smell like gas.The dial for the middle long burner is peeling. even though we've never used it before. We have had two different fault codes come up in the last 6 mos. And its just 2 years old. Super disapointed in this appliance. Our old appliances were jenn air and they lasted 14 years. Shows the lack in quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good burners and oven features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this range. I like the streamlined look.The burners work well and I like the controls in front. The oven seems fine, and I am learning about the convection option and steam feature. The griddle is narrow but does work well for pancakes...easy and fun to use. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the stovetop grates are not convenient to lift for wiping clean underneath. They are semi fitted together which means you have to fumble with taking them apart or lift the whole thing which is awkward and a bit heavy, also if you have any pot or kettle on the stove, and the griddle, you must move them off first. Otherwise, the stainless steel is easy enough to keep clean. One other mention is that the front burners are the strong ones, with one small one at the back. I think it would be better if there was one strong burner and one small burner in front, and in the back could be a couple of medium-strong burners.

love the look and the function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying the Kitchen aid stove. The oven works great and has all the features. The cook top is great to cook on. My only wish is that the stainless steel was of a better gage. I must be cautious to allow anyone to clean the surface but myself. I have a Kitchen Aid cooktop in Las Vegas and the Kitchen Aid Slide range in Maine. Both have the same issue. They scatch very quickly, and I must let them soak before cleaning them after cooking a big meal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cooking With Gas

My wife was nervous about gas since we always had electric.
She quickly figured it and now is a happy wife!
We did have to wait for a couple of months due to supply chain issues. It was worth the wait. The stainless top looks amazing and easy to clean. Gas oven is great for baking. The lower oven works well but is quite shallow. You can’t put taller casseroles in there but oven is large and the front window is large so it’s easy to keep an eye on your meals or baking. U

Great unit, just a single hitch.

Bought this a month ago. Love almost all aspects of it. The only draw back I've found so far is the timer. When the timer finishes the only thing you get is a single, quiet, tone as if someone pressed a button on the control panel. Very easy to miss.
Apart from that, worked great for thanks giving.
