good but some items i would change

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the center 5th burner, and the rollout shelf is nice too. have not used the lower oven yet. I bought this as i had a great previous model for 18 years.
this is good, but i dont like overall design. i think the front knobs being on the direct front, can be pushed and actually turned on if you are not careful. i did this. the clock, you have to look down, where my older model was more on an angle, which i could see from across the room. it also feels that when the oven is on, the top of the stove gets hotter than i think it should.

A fantastic oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing extensive research, we decided to go with the KitchAid Gas Convection. The oven is very functional. The burners are efficient and work great. The oven is huge and could easily handle our baking and broiling needs during the holidays. The second backing drawer has been used numerous times and works great.
We had some surface blemishes on the control panel. Our dealer replaced with a new control panel and all is working great. Just a bit of a concern about quaility control that would let a surface damaged stove make it to the customer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice range

Not worth the money

We bought this on Black Friday to replace a 25-year old GE Profile slide-in range, and he's my thoughts -
1. It's very pretty.
2. The burners for the rangetop heat very quickly.
3. As pretty as it is (the huge oven window is great), the stainless scratches very easily and is a nightmare to keep clean.
4. The bottom baking drawer is worthless. Slow to preheat and cooks very unevenly. Save your money and get the model with just the bottom storage drawer.

Great Range We love it

Love my new Gas Stove

We just had our new Kitchenaid range installed today. With gas ranges in the past, we have always had a fan running either during operating the oven or once we were done to cool the oven down. There is no running fan at any point. Is this normal?? I couldn’t find any info in the manual regarding this. Please advise!!!
