[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's most definitely one of the prettiest stoves I have ever seen, I am most happy with it. However, it's not perfect. The touch glass, really no other place for it, but it will see splashes, every time you cook, even with over-sized pots. A) You should offer like a ZAGG screen protector, like they have for cell phones. B) Also, I am having a piece of glass cut, to cover the whole top of the ungrilled part of the oven: 3 7/8" x 29 1/8" x 3/8" green glass, it will be beautiful, and keep all splashes off the screen. < I think this should come with the over; at that price, it's a real investment. And if you do offer it in the future, maybe reimburse me, for the idea? Oh, and instead of 3/8" thick glass, 7/16" would be perfect, with the non-slide flat rubber dots, it would lift the glass perfectly, to the top, of the bottom swoosh on the iron grill. C) Save some money, loose the remote, and create an app, so that we can use our phones as remotes instead. I like the remote, very cool, but it would be one less thing, and it could also keep you informed of how people use your products, to influence future design. Thank you so much!

30-Inch 5 Burner Gas Convection Slide-In Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the range in November and am disappointed with it. I paid a lot more for this oven and it is not as well built as my 21 year old Kitchen Aid gas convection oven and doesn't have some of the features it had including the built-in trim. The cooling fan rattles really loud and makes a lot of noise. I don't like how the oven constantly re-ignites when you are cooking. It sounds like it is going to blow up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a Great Range!

We will be remodeling our kitchen and planned on waiting to get new appliances at that time but I am so happy we had to replace our range early because it is fantastic. I had the opportunity to use the baking drawer to warm rolls on and I LOVE having it there instead of using that space for storage. Really great planning! I am so happy with all of the burners and the extra large really heats water quickly.

Gets REAL Hot

I bought this range 3 months ago. It is very nice looking, range cooks well with even heat. The oven bakes well and even. However, when using the oven the face of the range and the controls get extremely hot to the touch. Had I known this I may not have purchased this range. I would not expect this from the Kitchenaid brand. Overall the quality is great, but the hot to touch issue is a safety concern.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
