[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought this range about two months ago, I did not realize the oven was also gas. I have to say that I really like this feature. I also like that it has features lie steam bake, although I have not yet tried that. Using water to clean the oven is also a great thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a five star cooking machine. Food comes out evenly baked or cooked every time. The door is solid and the workmanship is precise. I am very, very happy with this range. I also love how the middle griddle is removable to allow for great big spaghetti dinner pots or soup stock pots. Love it!

Nice looking range but impossible to keep clean

I purchased the slide in range in Jan 2017. I put the top crates and burner covers in the dishwasher and they come out looking new. But, trying to clean the interior oven is impossible. The “Airclean” is a joke. I had to use Brillo pads and a lot of elbow power to clean. I’m single, rarely use the oven so it shouldn’t be rocket science to run the self clean in an oven. Not sure what Kitchenaid was thinking when introducing a new way to clean ovens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range to replace an 11 year old top of the line KitchenAid that had some computer board issues, but was fine otherwise. I am really pleased with the quality and performance of the new model. The oven is large and precise and the five burners on the stove are outstanding. The stainless steel cooktop is easy to clean and looks very classy. The controls are very easy to use. I am very pleased.

Love the oven

Have been using this range for 2 weeks now. I love the oven (with the 3xception of how long it takes to preheat) and am amazed at the capacity it holds. I can cook a whole meal in the oven. I am less enthusiastic about the cooktop. This is the first gas cooktop I have owned so a lot of the problem may be me. I wonder if the center covers can be removed - it just does not heat evenly. The outer portions of my pans heat quickly but the inner surfaces take forever to start cooking anything. I have melted a bowl already just from having the bowl sit in close proximity. And the handles of my cookware (which can be placed in the oven) get so hot I am afraid they may melt. And I will need no heat this winter because the stovetop raises the temps in my house by about 15 degrees within 10 minutes. Probably me but I do miss my electric cooktop. Who would have thought it?
