Outstanding range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range after much research and comparison shopping. The features it offered set it apart from the competition. The huge capacity, the second oven drawer (not warming draw, but oven), the continuous cast iron grates, the style and look, and the Sabbath mode sold it for us. And, the temperature is spot on. My wife tested it with an in-oven thermometer. The only things to be mindful of are - 1) When in Sabbath mode, if you inadvertently swipe the touch pad you could turn the oven off. Otherwise, it works great. 2) It's all stainless steel so be careful not to use anything abrasive when cleaning up spills. Don't buy those nasty, smelly, greasy steel cleaners. 409 works well I'm told, but I use Purell's kitchen sanitizer made for restaurants. Works great. 3) Buy the trim kit. It make for a seamless look. 4) The oven door doesn't always seal when you close it. It requires a slight push to make the final connection. You only notice it when the light stays on so be careful in Sabbath mode because the light is deactivated. I'm sure there's a fix so I'll follow up with KitchenAid.

Poor QC inspection of Baker's drawer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the stove Installed and noticed the bakers drawer was uneven. When the installer went to adjust he found that the tract of the Baker's drawer wasn't even attached to the wall of the range. Now have to wait for a warranty repair man to come and repair my brand NEW range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Kitchen Aid Range !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a gas range and finally got one ! Didn't take to long to get use to using gas and I am glad we switched. Probably getting another KitchenAid appliance as now the dishwasher has gone.
