Gas n gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Despite what the government might tell you, nothing beats a gas range. I love the way it cooks. Only issue or feature I would like to see is a way to turn the control panel on or off so i don't have to worry about my cat starting to bake something in the oven while I'm out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Warming drawer

Warming drawer turned on by itself. Luckily we were home. Smoke and burn smell filled the air. All electrical turned off. The heating element was on broil. We were not using the stove or oven at the time. This could have been a house fire if we were not home! It's 3 1/2 years old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing but problems since the start

Purchased stove less than 1 yr .. Right from inception stove has not worked properly.. Will not ignite and heating up period can take upwrd of 2 hrs and still not reach temp, will not hold the temp , too many issues to discuss. Have had a tech out here 5 times and even spoke with tech dept from Whirlpool .. stove still not fixed and cook anything .. have always liked the Kitchen Aid product but now have lost all faith
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great stove with terrible self-clean cycle

From the moment I saw this range I knew it would be the best range to replace the one we had from the previous owner of our home. It's sleek, modern, and functions well HOWEVER, the Aqualift as mentioned below from others is a joke. It does absolutely nothing to clean the oven. The rest of the oven (the outside) is easy to clean and maintain but the inside I've now had to get down on hands and knees and even remove the front door to get into the oven to clean up the build up. I've had the range now for almost a year and half and have had to deep clean it at least 5 times to keep up with it. The baking drawer is the one feature that is holding me back from trying to find another model to buy for our new home that we are in the process of building. I came on the site to see what others have to say about the Aqualift and I'm glad Im not the only one who has complaints about it. PLEASE Kitchenaid address this issue! We'd love to stick with the same appliance company but I don't want to spend the rest of my days scrubbing an oven!

I love the space of the five burners and they heat very quickly. The convection oven cooks evenly and quickly. I haven't used the baking drawer yet but I'm excited to have the extra oven next time I prepare a big meal.
