Beautiful but Safety problem

We bought this stove a couple months ago. It is beautiful and works great. However, we are very concerned about the safety and we're already thinking of replacing it. The large burner has a simmer feature and you cannot tell if it is left on. You can't see flame and there are no on/off light to tell if any burners are left on. Two times we have found it on in the morning (it was on over night). This morning we had smoke due to a melted plate. KitchenAid should have put a on/off light so you can tell if it is left on. Not sure what we will do, but we'd rather get something else than burn our house down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor manufacturing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This arrived Damage with large Dent on right side. Burners do not seat level on stove top. Front dials were instslled improperly, tilted and off centered. Small stainless steel pinching creates a dimple crease dent look under dials. Poorly put together at assembly plant.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This stove is great. We got one with the smaller oven on the top. WE use the smaller oven the most. Great for cookies. The Main oven fits everything and heats quickly. I usually only use the convection setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Range!

So many features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these...yes I said two of them. Put them side by side in my kitchen. They look amazing and I now have two full ovens, two small ovens and 10 burners. EVERYONE wants to come to my house now. You can cook a meal for 30 people with that kind of horsepower in the kitchen. The features of steam bake, convection, keep warm, and the same settings on the bottom ovens are just amazing. The design is sleek and modern. These things are worth every penny and the best part...2 of these oven ranges are more space and less cost than a 48 inch range! Thank you Kitchen Aid for building such an amazing product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look of the range, but sill getting used to it. We've only had it for 2 months. Very easy to clean and love the output on the burners. Still getting accustomed to the control panel for the operation of the oven. Have not yet used the convection yet, but will try this soon. Great capacity in the oven and love the baking drawer!! It's small, but was perfect to make a cobbler as the oven was used to roast veggies!!! It truly was 2 ovens in 1. At times, I think the edges of baked products are burning too quickly, but am still getting used to the oven temps. Overall, I love it, it looks great in our new kitchen and seems to be a good performer.

Initially thought the oven was still on and heating up after shutting oven off... however come to find out the fan stays on for quite a long time cooling it off... since then no problems and am thoroughly enjoying everything ... The outcome of food is beautifully cooked evenly and just right. Easy converting recipes to convection which I love... only downfall for me is the top needs to be covered if cooking grease very easily dirtied ...
