We bought this ice machine two weeks ago. It makes clear ice and lots of it! The little dice-shaped cubes are just what we wanted. We have the refrigerator which makes the crescents, but like the cubes so much better.

I AM REPLACING MY ICEMAKER THAT WE BOUGHT IN 2006 .IT WAS A KITCHENAID .THE NEW ONE IS THE SAME AS THE OLD ONE IN LOOKS BUT MORE FEATURES LIKE DOOR ALARM AND BUILT IN WATER FILTER.I NOT ONLY RECOMMEND KITCHENAID BUT REPURCHASED ANOTHER ONE.
