(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are not as pleased with this automatic ice maker as we were with our previous Kitchen Aid 15" purchased in 2006. It is never quite: gurgling, bumping and water flowing. Also the ice sticks together in a big ball in the middle of the icemaker and we have to chip it apart each time we want to get ice. We did not have these issues previously.

Very nice ice maker

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After much research, I decided to purchase the Kitchenaid ice machine with pump in stainless. The unit has been in operation for several days, and I am very pleased with the quality of product and quantity of ice. Yes, there are "sounds," yet nothing out of the ordinary for a refrigeration unit, particularly once the bin is full. The ice is a nice size, and the bin is illuminated. The drain pump was well-worth the money: makes installation much easier. Great product, Kitchenaid!!
