Only drawbacks, as mentioned by other reviewers, are the noise, and also the ice seems very "wet",and I'd prefer to have a recessed door opener design rather than the handle that sticks out. However, we are pleased overall.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It only worked for 2 days and then quit making ice. Water does not seem to be coming in. I still am waiting to have a kitchenaid authorized repairman come look at it. So far I am not impressed that it broke so quickly. Hopefully, the machine is not a lemon and constantly has problems. I am not rating most of the features since I have not had it work long enough to know.
