I like the smoky color of the ice scoop; however, it isn't as sturdy as the old white scoop and even more ice slides out the sides when using. The added option for more ice production during a specific period should come in handy.

Quieter than our last whirlpool ice maker which we loved

It is installed under the counter in our kitchen and operates quieter than we thought it would. Our last whirlpool ice maker was in the man cave and feared it would be too noisy for the kitchen but it is oerfect.
