Love the xtra burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set mine up a month ago. I haven’t built my island yet but am using while I wait. I love the even cooking. I’m short and do have to be careful because I accidentally turn it off and on at times. While leaning over it.

Gas Range that performs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first gas range and it takes a bit of getting used to.
The performance feels great using gas heat cooking. All of our meals are more inspired. A lot more cooking space and heat control. It looks really great in our new kitchen. It offers a lot of great baking features that I have not explored yet, like Steam bake and Proofing.
The front knobs are a l little easy to leave engaged, or accidentally lean against. I am still paranoid that the gas is on ... not a trivial fear considering health concerns or fire potential. I wish the control knobs felt safer and more secure.
The oven is a mix of electric and gas heating. It holds temperature very well, but I'm not convinced the 'auto' convection option cook time conversion is correct. I had a couple of things come out under cooked. I can adjust to the timing, but currently feel that the "automatic" convection conversion setting isn't correct. I will test this some more.
The flat panel controls on the front are easy to engage while cleaning, which is often. The timer button seems to be in a bit strange location. You have to enter the time in minutes only, then timer again to start. Just different than other ovens we have had.
Overall I like it a lot in our new house, the quality feels well made, and it is especially attractive in our new kitchen.

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stove burners difficult to calibrate for cooking. Left side simmer burners don’t stay lit when at lowest setting. Not as good as the range we replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first gas range and I’m so glad I switched to a convection gas oven. For the price though it should have metal knobs instead of the chrome plastic. I did also have to adjust the oven temperature up because it was way off.

New Home Suite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased as part of a new home suite. We had only used electric ranges before and wanted to go to gas. Gas burners on stove top heat quickly and evenly. Cast iron grates are sturdy but heavy to remove when cleaning below. Oven bakes very well especially when using convection mode. Digital panel converts regular recipes to convection time / temp if one desires.
Oven uses distilled water to clean but our experience thus far is that the oven does not get completely clean. We are in contact with retailer and company to resolve the issues.
