Decided to test it out with an expensive New York strip cut. Broiled perfectly! Beautiful and perfect fit. Added a stainless steel backsplash that connects seamlessly with OTR KitchenAid microwave. Beautiful professional look. Easy to use with easy to follow touch panel.

So disappointed!

We bought all new kitchen aid appliances for our new home. I really could not be more disappointed in my gas range. Last night I was baking a pizza and it took 28 minutes to preheat the oven to 450 degrees. I did not open the door and did not have any unused racks in the oven. I have never had to wait so long for any oven to preheat. Another and even worse feature is that I can only cook on one burner most of the time. The largest burner, front left, is the only burner that I actually have control over. I can get it up high or turn it down to a low simmer. This burner has the only knob that allows me to do this. The others do not have the control of temperature that I am used to on a gas range. The low setting is much more like medium and does not allow me to adjust beyond the setting it has for low. I am so sorry that I bought this range and certainly can't afford to buy a new one now. If there is some way to adjust the flame so that I can cook at the desired temperature, please let me know.

I bought this a month ago and, although it is a beautiful stove, I find it is more stove than I need at this stage of my cooking -- 5 burners, convection and regular oven etc. Looks great, works well. What can I say. Perhaps I should have looked around but it was a decision in haste.

Okay a few thing I do not like, first the grills, the two pc design make it a major pain to clean, I am 5 foot and to lift those & place to the side is NOT a great design, secondly the stove sits hight, also not great for someone 5 foot tall & thirdly the control panel needs a cover so that when you clean it or bump it it does not go off and do its own thing. Burners are a bit hot, needs more than one simmer control burner. The stove cooks beautifully & the burners I will get used to. One of the few full gas ranges, but with all my heart I miss my older jen-air, which I has not sold it with the house.
