HANDSOME RANGE LOOKS BETTER HERE THAN IN THE SHOWROOM

QUITE HAPPY WITH THE RANGE.......MY FIRST TIME USING THE OVEN MY HOUSE FILLED WITH SMOKE FROM WHAT I ASSUME IS BURNOFF OF SOME COATINGS.......BAD SMELL......SHOULD COME WITH A WARNING..........THEN THE SAME THING HAPPENED WHEN I USED THE BROILER FEATURE FOR THE FIRST TIME.......SMOKED OUT THE HOUSE........ONE COMPLAINT THOUGH THE 5 KNOBS THAT CONTROL THE BURNERS ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE UNIT HAVE RED INDICATOR LINES TO SHOW YOU WHEN THE GAS IS OFF OR POSITIONED AT DIFFERENT LEVELS, WELL WHEN YOU TURN ALL THE KNOBS COMPLETLEY OFF THEY DONT QUITE LINE UP WITH THE INDICATOR LINE SHOWING WHERE THE OFF POSITIONS ARE. KIND OF A LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL..... THEY SHOULD LINE UP PERFECTLY IN THE OFF POSITION I THINK
ONE LAST SUGGESTION, THEY SHOULD HAVE TWO TIMERS INSTEAD OF ONE, SO I CAN COOK PASTA WITH ONE TIMER AND WATCH THE OVER WITH THE OTHER.......GOOD IDEA?

So far this oven works great! Great control with the burners and the oven's ez convert convection system was super easy to use. My only complaint is that knob area gets hot when the oven is in use.

NOT SELF-CLEANING

I love the stove and how the oven bakes, but this is NOT a self-cleaning oven. The steam cleaning cycle does not help you clean, like the high heat method does. There is always left over baked on grease if you use the broiler or cook a roast. So you have to climb in and try to clean it with glass top stove cleaner, which also does not remove it all. I had only had this stove for about 3 weeks at Thanksgiving when I tried to clean it the first time, 5 cleaning cycles later, I was on my knees climbing inside, to the back of the oven, to clean what the SELF-CLEANING cycle missed. Over all I love my stove, but the oven was falsely advertised, it it NOT SELF-CLEANING.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the first new stove for me in 19 years. I had a glass top before deciding to go back to a gas stove after many years. I can't be happier with my decision. I love having a lot easier control of cooking. In addition, I chose to buy a stove that has an oven that can be used as normal or as convection. Although I have not used the convection oven yet I am sure I will do fine with it. I love the slide-in feature also, never having this style before. Simply put it's super functional and very pretty!

Finally a white oven with a high tech look. This Kitchenaid oven is the perfect update for the kitchen where appliances are white rather than stainless. From The beautiful smooth herringbone handle on the oven door with the Kitchenaid red symbols on each end, along with sturdy, strong black grates for the cooking surface, top digital oven controls and burner control knobs that are perfect size - not huge and chunky! Cooking surface is huge and burners have great power. Oven cooks accurately and leaves food tender and juicy not dried out. This was the perfect choice for my kitchen. The stainless accents provide just enough of a quality look without the cold hard look of stainless. Love this range. You will not be disappointed.

I have the stove about 2 months. I have received numerous compliments about the good looks of the stove from visitors. I really like the cast iron grill and 5 burners. We have baked and broiled in the oven but have not used the convection feature. Only complaint is the black surface under the grill is hard to keep clean. Also, since timer and oven controls are on top front panel, features can turned on while cleaning the panel but easily cancelled. Overall, very satisfied with the product.
