This is a beautiful range. Love the configeration of the grates on top. The only problem I have with it, is I am short and I tend to lean over and onto the control nobs, which can start firing the elements. Oops. I'd prefer the clock be on the front face of the appliance somehow, as well. But other than that. it is incredible. Love the convection option.

Beautiful stove. Because it's a slide in, the burners sit back further than a standard stove. If your short, it's a bit awkward to use the back burners. I love it for the sleek design with a tiled backsplash. The controls do get heated up when the oven is used. We don't bake much so it's not a problem for us.

Pros: The stove looks great
Cons: It does not work well as a stove or cooktop
I used to have an across the board favorable impression of Kitchenaid after living with their dishwashers for decades. Sadly, this stove broke that notion.
The stove simply was designed for looks only and has poor performance both on the cooktop as well as the oven. In the oven I've tried to cook chicken, duck, vegetable gratin, lasagna and many other dishes and all of them came out poorly as a result of the oven not being able to maintain heat evenly inside.
I have 2 thermometers inside. I bought them because it was taking me 3+ hours to roast a chicken at 425 and the skin was still not crisp... One is sitting in the top back lefthand one hanging in the front lower right...I discovered that the temp differential between the two at both 350 and 400 is 50-75 degrees ( the upper back being hotter). If you look at the photo I attached you will see a sheet pan of cauliflower and one corner is scorched while the rest are just cooked. This is a great example of how uneven the heat is.
The cooktop is problematic as well. The front two burners are the only ones capable of making any heat but they have very poor adjustment. Going from High to Medium results in a drop in flame height of about 1/32 of an inch and no drop in heat output. Going from Medium to Low is where 99% of the flame adjustment is. Just be careful not to move the dial to low too quickly or there is a good chance the flame with extinguish.
I have had the service technician from the appliance store here twice already and they make small adjustments but the real problem is the design of this unit.
I cannot recommend this stove to anyone except NYC apartment dwellers who use their oven to store clothing.
