Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven is beautiful but that's it.
First: The finish on the control panel is delicate and scratches easily. Already damaged and had less than two months.
Second: Takes forever for the oven to finishing pre-heating
Third: I have only used the oven twice and just to bake cookies and now it has residue/streaks between the glass oven door panels.
Fourth: Just noticed there is a blue bubble between the glass oven door panels. I am contacting Kitchenaid as this definitely a defect and possibly safety issue so will not be using the oven now.
Fifth: The design on the panel makes it easy to turn on when just wiping the panel off.
Six: The storage drawer is so small and can't hold anything with height, only cookie sheets. Cheaply made also.
Seven: The burner is already stained an unable to clean. It seems to be made of a cheap or substandard material.
This range was purchased as part of remodel. I also purchased a kitchenaid microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. I am waiting for the refrigerator to be delivered. I just hope the other appliances do not become a disappointment also.

Aqualift system does not work.

Have the range for just 8 months and it does not clean the oven. Be prepared to do a lot of scrubbing to no avail. I have a bad back and this was a bad choice. Look at LG. My neighbor says his range works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exquisite new look and functionality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first KA range served as well for 15 years. But when the oven finally quit, it was time to get the newest version. The aesthetic is much more angular and contemporary, with the control panel for the convection oven now horizontal, not vertical. The burner grates are sturdy but lighter, making it easier to clean. The oven no longer makes a “boom” as gas levels go off and on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks great, BUT

I bought this range in July2019 and am now experiencing problems:
1. The oven door doesn't open smoothly. One has to exert more pull force than one would expect and then the door opens with a loud snap! Looks like one of the side hinges is bent and catches on the door panel's inner sheet metal. How can these bend?!
2. When the bottom drawer is opened or closed with the oven heating up or at temperature it makes a loud scraping noise. I think it is scraping the underside of the oven panel which is probably warping when hot. The drawer slides do make a noise which I expect and they aren't the source of the scraping.
3. When the gas valve opens it does so with a loud snap and then a loud woosh when gas is ignited is heard. I've had gas ranges in the past and never experienced this.
I do hope a rep from Kitchenaid reads this and responds. I'd love to have a tech reach out too me or have a service call (at no charge since still under warrantee).

My New Best Friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my range. It is a first for me in using a gas range and this range is so simple to use. It basically walks you through any steps you may need. I am a baker and the convection oven is wonderful. I had read that gas ovens can be tricky for bakers because they typically do not circulate the heat evenly-- that is NOT the case with the KitchenAid. My baked goods have never tasted better, truly! It also looks so sleek in my kitchen. I am all together a KitchenAid consumer, my entire kitchen is now KitchenAid appliances and I am pleased with each appliance. I highly recommend KitchenAid

Beautiful, delicate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just bought the entire suite and they are gorgeous. So sick of the boring old stainless that has been overdone...HOWEVER...the finish is rather delicate. Not for a rough and tumble home (ours has fared well, with just a few nicks, but our kids are teens and we are not really running around out kitchen with forks anymore). Read the warranty... you literally cannot clean this oven if you want to maintain your warranty. They say use water and a useless sponge they give you. It does not work, but of course, you knew that! Grease does not come off with just water! No not even with the steam clean function. The porcelain top has held up well but do NOT let tomato sauce sit on it. It is still cleanable, if you do, but it is very difficult and time consuming - you’ll void your warranty of course because you DO need to use very fine steel wool to get it off. I would still purchase it if I had the choice again, but if the warranty is important to you, you may want to keep looking. the convection is wonderful, and truly faster. The broiler in our gas version is excellent, if a bit concentrated to one area. It will turn off if you leave the door open too long, but will reignite when you close it again. The drawer is pretty flimsy and holds very little. I don’t even use it. I do somewhat regret not upgrading to the model with the gliding racks. Go see one of the suite in person!
