I priced this gas range against all other gas ranges in its class and this one by far was the best in class and price. It was on sell for half the price of the like featured gas range but, to me, looks better and has more features. The one thing I wanted was to have the burner knobs away from the top burners enough so that oils would not spill all over them while cooking, most ranges knobs are placed so close that the knobs are covered with oil. This range has a flat surface for oils to land away from the knobs thus avoiding the extra knob cleaning after cooking. The knobs stay fairly clean and the flat surface above the knobs is much easier to clean up. No pulling the knobs off, cleaning the knobs and knob plate and replacing back the knobs every time that you clean the top of the range. Just wipe clean the flat surfaces in front of and around the burners, and wipe off any knobs that may have some light spill with soap and water and YOU ARE DONE!

Just got this oven 6 weeks ago and I'm thrilled. After a series of bad ranges, weak burners and impure. Really wanted a Wolf/Viking but budget would not allow. Was hoping to do dual-fuel but did not have the 220 amps. This came in with the right balance of affordability and high end features. The 17000 BTU is more than you'll ever need and because of the placement of the grates its very comparable to the 22K BTU burners on other high end units.

I've been using the new range now for about 2 weeks and love it. I was concerned about the BTU and power for the five burners and am happy to say all 5 are more than adequate (I love to cook and cook a lot). We opted for the model without the warming drawer because a) I wasn't sure how much I'd use the warming drawer and b) I didn't want to give up storage space. I have no regrets about that decision. I was slightly disappointed with the fact that only the model with the warming drawer has the stainless steel top. The model without the warming drawer comes with the black enamel cooktop only. It sitll looks great, just means I spend more time keeping it clean. I love the quality of the gas controls. Very smooth and precise control, and the material of the knobs themselves is quite good ans sturdy. Overall, I'm very please with the unit. Only two minor complaints. 1) The cast iron grates on the cooktop are a bit rough. Pots don't move very easily across them -- or as easily as I am accustomed to -- and if you get near them with a paper towel when cleaning, the roughness will shred them. 2) I don't like being prompted by the control center every time I use the convection setting to respond whether the oven should covert a standard temp for convection or not. It's an necessary interruption. This is my only peeve with the system and a seems like a design and/or user experience oversight, but I'm sure I'll adjust.
