I purchased this range in January and have had nothing but problems waiting for it to be repaired for the second time I have emailed kitchenaid twice and have never received a response from them I will never purchase this brand of appliances again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband and I made the decision to buy a gas range, after looking at a number of other brands and styles, we chose our Kitchenaide. It was definitely the right choice! Not only is it beautiful, but it makes cooking and baking a pleasure. We were impressed with the fact that Kitchenaide does not make "low end" appliances. Kitchenaid makes a product that is made to last and perform beautifully. We also purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher. It is so quiet you have to be standing next to it to hear it. I trust Kitchenaid for all of their products, from major appliances to their kitchen utensils!

We have been using this range for less than a year. The temperature control indicates that the desired temperature has been reached when a separate thermometer registers it some 50 degrees below that. We had it repaired only to find that the self cleaning does not work and now the temperature is 25 to 40 degrees higher than it is set for. Waiting for the second repair. Fingers crossed
