Many Annoying Features

When you move pots from burner to burner, you have to calculate what would be an equivalent temperature, rather than just going from medium in the front to medium in the back, They're completely different and it's all trial and error. The glass panel oven controls are on top, in front of the burners, so if you try to wipe them clean while you're cooking, you run the risk of stopping or resetting the oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for a total kitchen renovation. Have not yet used the convection function as my kitchen was just completed about a week ago, but am looking forward to using it. Love the grate and all the features.

Beautiful Range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new KitchenAid range...it looks and cooks great; however right out of the box I discovered an issue with the keypad (#6 doesn’t work). This is a problem not only for setting the oven temp and cook timer but the clock is set using the #6 as well. We’ve only had the range for a couple weeks so I haven’t called for service yet but it’s concerning that there’s an issue already hence the reason for the 4 star rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for about 3 weeks and more than anything we like the look. The stove top works fantastic and we like having the five burners with the varying btu's. The grate is nice and flat and the two pieces are easy to remove. Although we haven't made great use of the oven yet, our experience to date is the convection does not work as well as other convection ovens we've used does. This may be a learning curve but the fact of the matter is that things we cooked in our previous non-convection electric oven took less time to cook than this oven does on convection. Other than that the unit looks great and has a nice big window.

Convect oven takes some getting used to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice oven. I love it without the back part coming up and not having to lean over to start the oven. I’m still working on the convect feature I still need to learn how to use. One drawback is the extremely heavy grates on top. There are only two and interlock so they are hard to pull up to clean. Another drawback is the fingerprints. Every time a button is pressed it leaves a mark on the screen. I’ve even resorted to using my knuckle to avoid cleaning it again but it doesn’t be work as well. Also, when cleaning the buttons or top of oven, you can lock the buttons so it won’t start cooking but beeping still occurs.

Gas Range for a Real Chef!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased a new construction home and upgraded to have all Kitchen Aid appliances because my fiancé is a chef. This gas range is a game changer. It cooks everything to perfection. I will say that it is sort of a pain in the butt to clean after you cook a big meal but that’s life. It’s easy to take everyone off and soak in the sink. I would highly recommend this gas range to all my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this gas cook top is easy to use. Cooks quickly and is easy to clean. The oven is nice. I like the looks of the top. Doesn't feel like a range, very sleek.
