Beautiful appliance!

When planning our kitchen remodel, we decided to go back to a gas range and we are so glad we did. We’re having fun learning how to cook on gas after 40 years with electric. The first thing we learned was how much more quickly foods cook now! No more waiting for the bacon at breakfast!!

Good but started to see issues after 1-2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid is a good name in the cooking range but after approx 1 year of use i started to face two issues
1. I can see some rusting marks on the body which are not going away with regular cleaning
2. One of the burner started to to have problems in starting easily with the spark trigger

Quick rise to temp & uniform cooking

This model checked a number of required boxes: 30” slide-in, gas burners, front control panel, USA manufactured, simmer control, no center grill. Cooking uniformity is improved compared to 15-year old range this replaces. Fast heat transfer. Softer more controlled consistent cooking from more uniform burner heat dispersion.
Generous large gas oven with three racks preheats rapidly compared to range this replaces. Gas broil has a supplemental electric element together with the gas Venturi quickly rising to 500º+. Broil cycles off/on when set to convection broil, uniformly broiling thicker items. Haven’t used convection roast yet, though hopeful roast works as well as broil. Roast setting was ineffective on previous range.
Front vs rear control results in strong user review opinions. Our family is in front control camp. Front horizontal oven control digital pad is soft touch, easy to access, easy to read, easy to use. Settings are NOT inadvertently changed wiping an oil splatter during frying as reported by some reviewers because a 3-second touch locks/unlocks the pad. The 3-second lock/unlock feature eliminates downrating some reviewers gave about front control inadvertently changed by user or pet cat. Operator attention to features is recommended.
Enjoying use only a few months, yet pleased so far. It’s USA manufactured. Appears built like a premium product, like a lower-end Thor that was considered but not USA made. Can’t predict durability of the horizontal digital pad. That’s what the extended warranty is for.

Temperature controls are accurate and we have had absolutely zero issues with the product. It is sleek and looks amazing in our kitchen. We are VERY happy with the purchase

Great USA made oven

Even happier that it’s does not have wifi built in like the garbage GE convection oven it replaced that wouldn’t function unless WiFi was connected. The oven cooks evenly and we really like the variety of burners. Well done Kitchen-Aid!
