Cheap disguised as good

I bought this range/oven several years ago. Works ok, but the oven lights only last a few times before they burn out, and we have given up and just don’t use them anymore. The knobs are not metal, they have a tinfoil sticker around them to look metal, and the stickers all shrivel up and peel off, leaving razor sharp edges that gave cut me badly several times when trying to turn the knob. And the bezel surrounding the knob is just glued-on shiny plastic that eventually falls off. Cheaply made, cashing in on the KitchenAid name to peddle whirlpool stuff. Not junk, exactly, but not quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range takes very long to pre heat even up to a normal oven temperature of 350. I timed it to see how long it takes and it was over 10 minutes. Also, there is a distinct smell of gas when it is heating up. Lastly, when you turn one of the burners on, they all start to spark, not just the one you're trying to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi MC202A. A range or wall oven with all racks in the oven cavity will preheat to 350°F in 12-15 minutes (+/- 5 minutes). A preheat time of 12-15 minutes is normal and does not require service. It is also normal for all burners to spark when you are attempting to light a burner.

Looks good doesn't work good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it's a good looking range but I have had nothing but issues with it lighting and staying lit. It will just stop heating and food takes alot longer than it should to cook
