Great purchase

My oven heats quickly and cooking with gas is def quicker and you can see the flame and can gauge the temp easier than electric. I just love my KitchenAid stove!

Burner Knob Safety Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the burners and oven are fine. However, there is a major safety issue with the burner control knobs which can be inadvertently turned on and twisted when leaning on the burner knob to remove a pot from the back of the stove. This has happened three times in the short time since we owned the range. Luckily, the gas flame did not ignite my clothes. This is a major liability issue. What can KitckenAid do to fix this problem?

Hot handle

The problem is the front right burner is large and when on combined with the oven being on, it heats up the handle of the microwave above it, making the handle tooooo hot to touch. Do you have a rubber cover for the microwave handle?

good stove except

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this range. But there is one problem with controlling the heat on the burners. I have a gas stove and the burners are on high and higher. There is no middle or lower on a couple of them.

Horribly dissatisfied!…Not able to cook or bake!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved into a brand new Logan home on Nov. 29th with a brand new Kitchenaid Gas range and have yet been able to cook or bake a single item in the oven as it doesn’t work. A repair man was finally scheduled to come on Jan. 3rd only to let me know that two parts need to be ordered!

All very good except the temps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our range for about a month and generally are happy with our purchase. We live off the electrical grid and expect it to be fairly energy efficient. Conversion to propane was straight forward. It has nice clean lines and functional and easy to use oven controls. Only complaints are: 1) the stove top burners heat up too much and run hot even when turned to their lowest setting except for the large stacked burner which can also be turned down to a simmer; 2) the oven runs cooler than where it is set and is about 50 degrees under temperature setting. I hope to find a way to adjust the controls for these two problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!
