Performance Question

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an existing range with this one, the exact same model. At Christmas we used the oven for the first time. On convection mode it did not seem that the circulating fan was working. No fan noise when opening the oven door. Please respond with explanation of expected performance in convection mode. I also have a Kitchen Aid wall oven in my Florida home. Convection fan is audible. Thank you

Oven not heating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove top works great…5 stars however the oven doesn’t work as the pilot light continues to reignite resulting in food not cooked. If recipe calls for 45 minutes the oven will take 90 minutes. Yesterday I waited over 40 minutes for the oven to reach 350 and it never did, had to cook in the microwave convection oven. Using the convection mode is worse as food doesn’t brown unless I turn up temperature to 425 or more but not guaranteed. Biscuit test failed as it took 28 minutes vs 11-15 per instructions, convection took as long but didn’t brown biscuits…came out pale. Stove was delivered on 1/06/2023 and had repair person on 1/18/2023. His explanation for the pilot light restarting was that it was sensor and not restarting although I can clearly hear the igniter ticking and the pilot restarting and food not cooking. I explained that I had to heat oven to 425 or more in order for food to cook. He basically told me to keep doing what I do and buy an extended warranty as it wouldn’t be the last I call for repair. Not acceptable. Please fix or replace the oven.

Awesome Range!

Has a smell when using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven smells, the dog wants outside once I turn on the oven, if he’s inside he goes to the guest room to get as far away as he can. I’ve been using the toaster oven lately just to avoid turning on the kitchen aid oven. I’ve been using the vent also. I wish I had looked for an electric stove.

Worst Range Ever

I bought this range in 2019. What a difference from my previous KA range. The roast feature doesn’t work, the the door doesn’t close all the way through, the cabinets on either side of the range get very hot when using the oven, the Aqua clean is useless. Tried cleaning oven with Aqua clean function five times in one day with no success . Even had a technician come in bone with no success.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
