Best gas range ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range as part of our kitchen 'redo'. It is not only pleasing to look at but very efficient. I have had gas ranges for years but this KitchenAid cooks quickly & the gas flow easy to regulate. Love it!

Generally great - some items I would change

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this stove. Initially I didn't know that a fan runs when you turn the oven off. I like the stove top except I cannot get a true simmer. The smallest burner puts off a lot of heat even on low.
The stove top grates are easy to clean and look great. The stove top is easy to clean since the burners lift off.
The touch pad has to be locked at all times since it's so easy to touch it and make something happen that you don't want to happen.
The oven cooks very well. No matter the level I am baking on, things work out well. In the older oven if I had baked goods on different shelves they cooked at differing times.
Be careful of the oven "exhaust" ports. Items can fall into this area (as we learned). Not much you could do here except possibly a screen material.
The bottom drawer appears to be cheaply made. Not that I use it for much.

Oven for the Heart of the Kitchen

Lot's of great features for the price.
Cons: Burner Nobs are very sensitive and can be turned on by brushing up against the oven, even the dog has turned them on.
Oven preheat takes 15 minutes to heat up, a learning curve compared to other ovens I have had in the past.
