Lovely range... however

After a lot of research I bought this range. I was a bit nervous about the grate design going in, but after evaluating all the pros and cons and went for it! It's been less than 2 months since I got it, and the grates have completely scratched and lost their coating. All this happened with medium use of the cook top. It's just the three of us and we don't cook all our meals at home. That said overall I'm fine with the performance of the range

Received this and within a week - two issues. Makes one wonder if they are selling refurbished items. Not a happy customer.

Not impressed. Don't waste your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gas range was delivered early September 2021 and within a few days noticed there was an issue with the number pad used to set the time/temperature. Clearly, it was defective upon delivery. Service called and will take at least two months to get the part needed.
Now, another issue. The knob that controls the burner doesn't work properly. Won't adjust to Low temp. Gets stuck between high and medium. Another service call scheduled for this week.
Not impressed whatsoever with this range. Two issues in less than a month. Would have expected much better from KitchenAid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love This Range with Low Profile Microwave

We cook alot and this set is the best we've ever gotten for the money taking into account functionality, looks and performance. Would buy it again and recommend it to others.

Scary design flaw.

I've had this range installed six months ago. Between 10-20 times now someone has bumped a burner knob and UNKNOWINGLY caused gas to leak into our home. We don't realize it until someone smells the gas. I'm terrified this stove is going to kill us. Before this one we had an older version 30" kitchenaide range, which worked great til we moved - we never ONCE had this problem in 10 years. This redesigned model is not safe, and I cannot find any information about how to make it so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range came with new build we bought, This state of the art appliance. Cooked a chicken just to see it function(could have used air fryer) and couldn't be happier with the result... just as juicy and tender, can't wait to Thanksgiving!!

Everything works like it should. Can't wait to cook my Thanksgiving Turkey dinner on the Range . I definitely have made the right decision to buy this Range.
