Nice range, needs improvement

We purchased this range back in late 2019 after looking at several manufactures. We decided on this range due to the industrial look the range offered without the industrial price. It's a great-looking range that really stands out in our kitchen.
However, there are some concerns we have. As several reviews have noted, the knobs EASILY turn on by simply brushing up against them. We've often smelled gas in our house, only to discover one of the burners was accidentally on. It's gotten to the point where I check the knobs every evening before we go to bed, and I turn off the gas to the range before we leave on vacation. It's a hazard, and should honestly be considered a defect.
Secondly, within the first 6 months of owning this range, the little stickers/icons that indicate the burner placements rubbed off. The sticker or paint they use doesn't hold up to general cleaning products.
Would we buy this stove again? Probably not simply due to the concerns we have around the knobs. KitchenAid used to be a high-end manufacturer. Not so much anymore IMO.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
