Loved the gas; cleaning not so much

Not sure about this range yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this installed 6 months ago. Nice looking in my space but their are some features I am not to happy with. The placement of the control panel is poorly designed. Every time you clean the top of the stove the control panels go off in some form. Very sensitive to touch. Both large burners are located on the front. Smaller ones to the back. Simmering a small pot/pan on the front of the stove does not work with such large burners. You should not have to reach across to the back of the stove to simmer a small pot of water. Pull out drawer at the bottom of the stove, is very shallow and tinny.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first gas range I have owned. We purchased it a year ago and have been delighted with it since. My entire kitchen is Kitchenaid. There are so many features on this range and I have yet to experience all of them. We do not have natural gas so ours is set for propane. Our propane usage has not changed significantly and I do a lot of cooking and baking. It's easy to clean. My one issue with it is that the burners burn too hot and I cannot get it "simmer" even at the flame's lowest setting. However I would not trade it for the world. When my sister built her new home, I showed her all my Kitchenaid appliances. She is now a convert and her new home is all Kitchenaid. Great product. Worth the money. I put a Kitchenaid dishwasher into my old home in 2005 and it's still running perfectly.

Love it! But...Control panel gets scratches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Functionally fantastic. I just wish the control panel was less prone to scratches. I kept the protective plastic on for over a month knowing that once I removed it, it would get scratched. It did. I even contemplated fashioning some sort of protective cover like an iPad screen protector or something. I never could figure it out.
