Very close to perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful even oven heat, love the extra racks too. The continuous grates make so much sense. Loved doing Christmas baking this year. The EZ oven clean may not be quite the same as 'self-clean' but it truly is easy and uses far less energy. Two complaints - the stainless steel is not nearly as easy care as I thought it would be - shows everything and I am always cleaning. KitchenAid's dishwasher finish is much better. The electronic pad is way too sensitive - the reviews are correct. It is very annoying. You can't even lightly touch it with a cloth and everything comes on (or turns off) whether it is the timer or the temperature so you are often 'fixing' the settings. My old range also had an electronic touch pad and it was much better. Overall still really like the range and I went into it having seen the reviews about the touch pad but might have explored other makes if I had known how extreme it was and about the finish in particular.
