Beautiful range with enough features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one beautiful range with 5 burners that is enough to satisfy our home cooking. The oven does a good job in getting a even distribution of heat and allows us to make delicious baked goods during this pandemic.

Peeling Away Oven door!!!

Well, I have had this oven for 3 years and this is the second time this oven door has peeled. I don’t know what this oven door is made of but the fact that they put material on it that peels with heat is beyond me. The last time this happened, not only did the door peel at the top, but the oven knobs were melting and becoming sharp and dangerous! Kitchenaid sent a technician out to replace the knobs and the top of the oven door... which was great, but exactly two years later It’s happening again! It terrifies me because I worry that the peeling particles got in food I was baking.
Please somebody from kichenaid... help!!! This can’t keep happening!!!! It’s unsafe and horrible that this expensive oven is peeling away!

poorly designed, top and oven cleaning impossible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grates interlock and very heavy and awkward to remove to clean. No drip pans so entire top gets filthy and you cannot use oven cleaner. Simmer on only one burner and still boils instead of simmers. Had to buy aftermarket protector that only marginally helps. Oven cleaning is horrible.. add water to bottom and hope it gets clean but sometimes it takes 3 times and still not clean!!!! Looks nice but not useful for someone who actually cooks. Controls in front and touch screen are in the way when you reach to the back burners. Oven door hung unevenly so had to get service people in the day after it was installed to re hang the door. Stainless steel shows fingerprints. In this day and age you would think Kitchen Aid would make a more user friendly, less high maintenance product. It was way to expensive for what it offers!!!!!!

love five burners and cleaning the oven easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My true convection oven bakes my gluten free cakes and cookies all the way thru. My previous Bosch oven did not do this, I had to keep baking and the edges got hard and dry. Sometimes it just wouldn't cook thru. I just love everything about this range. I know now I have a professional range that does so many things. Proofs for bread to rise great. It just has so many good features.
