Disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this oven delivered in late Dec. I've not had much of an opportunity to use it since we've been in the middle of kitchen & other home remodeling projects. I have to say, though, that I'm VERY disappointed in what I've experienced so far, especially since it's expensive & its supposed to be top of the line. First of all, the front panel is EXTREMELY sensitive to the slightest touch, turning functions on that aren't intended to be turned on, perhaps with just a single swipe of a dishcloth. One thing that has happened several times & which is very dangerous & disturbing to me, is that the burners click on just by lightly leaning into the dials on the front. On one of these occasions, an oven mitt which was sitting on the stove caught fire when I leaned into the front of the stove to clean the back. It seems that the dials must turn just enough to click burners on.
Now, here's where I get petty. I've never purchased a range that didn't come with a broiler pan. It seems to me that for the price of the range, a broiler pan should have been included.
Even though the use of my new range has been limited, the issues mentioned above are significant enough to me that I don't feel I could give it a very high review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid range has managed to update our entire kitchen. Love the slide-in look. The only downside is now I have to change out the countertops to go with my very cool range :)

This stove is bigger than our last one and has inspired us to do more cooking. Hard to believe, but we haven't gone out to eat once since getting this stove! And they are so easy to use and clean......

Look amazing but....

The oven works perfectly and the stove too, but, electronic panel to set the temperature, light etc... not working properly; the first stove we had to send back and now, only one month later, we are starting to have the same problem with the electric panel: when I push the button it won't respond. The truth, it just driving me crazy to keep on pushing until it response.
