Love this frig !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ABB2224BRB arrived 4/3/2021 Very roomy inside frig & freezer. Recommended settings for both were "4" but had to increase freezer to "5" for ice cream to be frozen solid. Removed our older Amana frig to garage; this new frig was the same size (height & width) but wouldn't fit under our cabinets because it was "slightly bowed" at the top instead of flat! We had to shave off the 2 cabinets for it to fit into our space !! This was a manufacturing issue. Otherwise, love this bottom freezer Amana refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! A Beautiful refidgerator! Love the black Textured sides and Shine in the front. A very sharp look. So much space, adjustable shelves, easy to use tempature control and great lighting. I love it! I have always had top freezer. I love the bottom freezer. It has two separate pullout shelves. The lighting in freezer is great as well. I am so happy with this refrigerator. I highly recommend.

Love the convenience of a bottom freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Amana Bottom freezer refrigerator for 4 months and have really appreciated how convenient it is to not have to bend down and crawl around looking everyday to find what is in the refrigerator. It makes so much more sense to have the freezer on the bottom as we are in the refrigerator much more often than the freezer. I have had other brand name bottom freezer refrigerators in the past but I think Amana is superior to them! Also it runs very quiet compared to others I have had. Excellent quality product!

Purchased April 2025/now September 2025. I hate French Door refrigerators-when my home flooded-glad to see it go. After 6 months of research-decided on a 2 door freezer on bottom Amana. My kitchen is small & my contractor cut the 6" studs behind the refridgator to 3" (not load bearing wall) as I needed the extra depth to fit this fridge.
PROs
1) Very large & roomy.
2) No water dispenser or ice maker to break. (I did not want either one)
3) Light inside is very bright
4) Tons of door storage
5) Very Quiet
6) Keeps things cool. (No freezing of things in the back like my son's Samsung fridge does)
7) Love the butter holder - never had one before. Very convenient.
8) Love the fact that the area behind the glass shelves is too narrow for stuff to fall down into
9) I had a contractor build a 7" tall platform on casters & he set this Amana fridge on it. I can easily reach to the back of the top glass shelf despite being on a platform & I love it. (Just in case that 100 year flood happens again-my fridge will be safe up off the ground). It rolls out for easy cleaning & he put a white wood skirt on front so can't see casters.

2) Solid door bins - I like the clear door bins in Whirlpool fridges better & I wish I had the option to have them in my Amana. (I don't trust Whirlpool fridges enough to buy their bottom freezer/as it had rust issues etc) (Yes Amana is owned by Whirlpool but after a terrible Whirlpool dishwasher I will never own another Whirlpool product itself product).
3) The vegetable bin drawers do not roll easily in and out & are smaller than expected but I noticed that in dozens of refridgerators I looked at - and heard the same complaint in thousands of reviews across many makes/models I just put apples etc on the glass shelf above vegetable bins if I buy too many fruits/vegetables. They seem to last just as long there.

PERFECT ALL OVER AGAIN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a replacement for a 28 yr old AMANA of similar design and hope it will serve me as long. The design changed from a freezer door on the bottom to a drawer in this new model and I am getting used to it but think its a an easier reach. The refrigerator portion is large with almost the same options; we found it very versatile/adaptable to our needs. I can easily adjust shelves for holiday roasts and storage containers. The model is lighter it weight than the previous but very happy overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great with a few issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second refrigerator of this model. We owned our first one for 29 years. There are several things that are not top quality. The vegetable drawers at the bottom just fall out of the tracks when you pull them open. The other drawer in the fridge doesn’t close or hang correctly .
