[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the refrigerator for almost two weeks, and we are very pleased with it. We are especially impressed with the Amana Customer Service line where we have addressed several questions in these first few weeks of ownership. The people at Amana answer the phone quickly and provide complete and excellent information about questions a new owner may have. We are very pleased with the ability to reach directly into our refrigerator for everything and not to have to bend any longer to get to fruits and vegetables like we did for too many years with our last box. It is a pleasure to be able to open the door and have everything in front of us. The freezer on the bottom is a wise choice for both the room it provides and the ability to have more space in the refrigerator area. So far, very pleased!

Plenty of room, great features, and runs so quietly I hardly know it's there. One of the important selling points is that it was made in USA. I love everything about it, and am glad I made this choice.

Fantastic unit

We purchased this model back in 2002 for our new home in NC. We have NEVER had an issue of any kind. Never needed any service other than the ice maker freezing up a few times, which I was able to fix. The best refrigerator ever. I am currently looking to replace it with the exact same unit only newer. I’m sure after 20 some years it has to be more energy efficient. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge seem to be running constantly as if it has a leaky door seal. THIS is our SECOND Amana. Our first died in December after 20 years of service. There is also a rattle when ever the motor begins the cooling. Can't get used to the stainless steel door. Finger prints galore. I have to organize the door shelves better. The inside is arranged differently than our old AMANA.

Had to get a new refrigerator quickly. Looked around and decided on Amama for looks, size and price. I had a freezer with door on my previous model this one has a drawer and I have less storage. I don't like the drawer with baskets. I much prefer the door with shelf and one basket and door rack. I'm sure I'll get use to the freezer but the adjustment is hard. No problem with the refrigerator set up.

We bought this refrig because our old Amana of 19.5 years was losing freon but still worked. This new one does not have the same quality and may not last as long. My wife does not like the drawers because they are flimsy.

Just replaced my 20+ yr old Amana of this same model. Not real impressed with the new one. Smaller drawer of thinner plastic, temp/air control on veggie bins is a joke when the drawers don't shut tight, meat drawer is just a drawer now. Lots of wasted space in the new model, all drawers seem to be about 25% smaller and don't go as far back to the wall or bottom of the fridge. Door shelves are ok even if they are of lesser quality plastic than they use to be. Freezer-- this is a sad design in my opinion. I would have had to buy a smaller fridge to get the freezer with the swing door. Why not give the customer the choice in which style they would want on the freezer? Drawer vs swing door. I loved the old style with the swing door. It had 2 rows of shelves in the door, a stationary shelf with a full (wall to wall to wall), pull out basket on the bottom. New design has so much wasted space in the freezer. When my new fridge arrived, the item in my old freezer would not all fit into the new one. I bought an Amana fridge and stove at the same time, and the stove (2nd one) has already had a service call. I have my doubts these units will last like my old ones did. As I stated in the stove review, "I miss the good ole days when a name brand stood for something you could count on." I truly wish I had spent half the money and repaired my old appliances. I could have passed off the Almond color as Bisque. MY 1ST REVIEW DATED 3/25/17 NEVER SHOWED UP HERE... WONDER IF THIS ONE WILL??

I bought this refrigerator in June and have had nothing but problems with it.
The compressor had to be replaced within the first month. Then the freezer
switch. Then the cycles were not running properly in the freezer which led to
replacing the computer board. We now have a sensor in the freezer to see
if there are even more issues. I will never buy another Amana product.
